AFTER CRIMINAL ENDED, I WAS FORTUNATE ENOUGH TO BE INVITED TO JUMP ON THE TAIL END OF SPIDER NOIR  AS THE THIRD GRAPHIC DESIGNER FOR A COUPLE OF MONTHS IN THE WINTER OF 2024. WITH THE SHOW'S RELEASE, I REGRET A LITTLE BIT THAT I DID NOT ACCEPT PRODUCTION DESIGNER WARREN ALAN YOUNG'S OFFER TO DO THE WHOLE SHOW INSTEAD OF CRIMINAL. IT TURNED OUT SO BEAUTIFULLY AND I LOVE THAT THEY SHOT IT IN BOTH BLACK AND WHITE AND COLOR. DOING SO CREATED BIG CHALLENGES. CERTAIN VALUES OF COLORS WILL JUST LOOK LIKE THE SAME GREY IN BLACK AND WHITE, SO YOU HAVE TO OVER SATURATE AND BRING UP THE CONTRAST. CONSEQUENTLY, THEY THEN HAD TO FILTER THE COLOR VERSION TO BE LESS DRAMATICALLY BRIGHT.

I painted digitally over a photograph for this oil painting of Silvermane

The final newspaper

The other graphic designers and I divided and conquered on this big request for 16 newspapers for a newsstand shot.

The neon sign outside Robbie's Apartment

Back there in the background behind the crowd are my billboards

Billboards for the Broadway finale scene to cover a modern building at the Universal backlot.

Barely visible but there are flags, dimensional letters and window vinyls and displays on the corner behind the cab.

You can't actually see it, but Allen Atlantic Travel Agency is on the corner under the overpass, with a photo studio upstairs
