In the fall of 2018, I was lucky enough to work on Greta Gerwig's adaptation of Little Women in Boston. The cast is incredible: Saoirse Ronan, Florence Pugh, Timothee Chalamet, Emma Watson, Meryl Streep and Laura Dern, to name a few. I didn't really know anyone in the Art Department when I was hired. Supervising Art Director, Chris Farmer called one August day and asked if I could start the next day. So, not wanting to look a gift horse in the mouth, I blindly flew from Oregon to Boston, a place I had never been. They turned out to be some of my favorite people in the world. I'd follow these people to the ends of the earth. Production Designer Jess Gonchor is such a pleasure to work for - always thinking about how he can go above and beyond what is scripted and despite his awesome resume, he's always just a regular guy with his crew.
